Auctions Close - New Nightly Auction
The first five 1% auctions just sold for an average price of $151.42. Thank you so much to everybody who bid and spread the word.

Now I'm going to try to list one three-day auction a night for awhile in a few different categories and see how it goes. I'd like to raise at least $5k, and preferrably more like $7.5k to cover most of the cost of the $10k buy-in.
Click Here for the new 1% auction starting... bidding starts at exactly 1% of the buyin price : $102. We'll call this one Auction 6... it closes 7 pm PST on Saturday.
Also, I'm going to try to setup a little chat program in the next couple of weeks so that I can have chat sessions with everybody who visits every once in awhile. If anyone knows of a solid webchat program, I'd love to hear about it.

I'm happy for you man. Probably one of the best chat sites would be Mirc, it's quite an old program but it gets the job done and is one of the best as far as chat programs go. For alot of people talking with one another Mirc is a good bet.
I have to promote mIRC too (mirc.co.uk), it's great, even with the new free 30 day trial approach
Probably the best "webchat" is Visubox. It can be placed anywhere on a webpage and updates in real time. I believe it requires ASP though.

My bid is in. Good luck Dutch!!
Hey dutch. Thats great your gonna get a chat program. Your really good to your fans. I really get flamed at forums for defending you.lol. But i dont care those guys are geeks. You are the main reason I started playing poker. So thanks. Good luck in all tournaments you enter.
hey dutch,
you might be able to extract more of a premium from auction if you bundles several tourneies together and sold "equity" in the collective investment. This would reduce the volatility from the investor persective and should drive your total price up.

What did Neal Ross post?
Russ is afraid of the truth which is that he RIPPED OFF fellow poker players for over a half million dollars. He has attempted to sluff off his larceny and blame it on others. I will be wherever he is whether on the internet or live at the casino. He WILL make arrangements to pay this money back. No threats just reality, I'm going to jail him.
dude, I honestly do not think it is his fault. Online poker sites make quite a bit of money. Why would he ruin his business, and take a hit to his reputation on purpose just to rip some people off. I would be pissed if i lost some money too, but dont take it to message boards, handle it differently.
Do you have any proof? Russ seems like a pretty stand up guy. The explainations he has given seem plausible to me. I could be wrong, but I bet once he wins a big tourney he will pay everyone back. Think about it logically. He has no reason not to pay you back once he has the available funds. Do you really think he wants to deal with this shit for the rest of his life? I don't think he does. I don't think anyone would.
Seriously Neal, you have no proof of these statements you are making. Russ seems like an awesome guy, he said he will pay off everyone that lost money so why use slander?
It seems most of you who are following Russ now, are not familiar with what happened at Pokerspot in 2000. You can get the complete details at either RGP or 2+2 forums in their respective archives. I don't expect to be fully paid off and most of the other players(approx 1500) don't either. I proposed to Russ that like many bankrupt companies reemerging from bankruptcy, that he pay off 10 cents on the dollar (10%) of the debt to settle all claims. This would amount to approximately $50,000. I fully realize he doesn't have it now but in 2003 he cashed $80,000 and paid not even a nickel to anyone. I want him to agree publicly to these terms. When Pokerspot was failing Russ had no bigger supporter than me. I urged the other players to keep playing to show their loyalty. At the time Pokerspot had the very best software on the market and the only online tournament software. Pokerspot was the first mover in online tornament poker. What happened in 2000-01 is inexplicable. I openly apoligize for calling Dutch names but I was reduced to this methodolgy because all else has failed. If anyone would like more details I can be reached at 888-575-4433, tollfree.

No Pokerspot story every gave any proof that Dutch ran off with the money. No one has given a scrap of evidence that he did so. If he wanted to rip people off in this manner, he wouldn't come back around, he would have waited until he could make enough money to live comfortably forever under an alias. You see, people don't just start poker sites to rip people off. It's an immense amount of work to put one together. There are a thousand easier ways to rip people off, don't you agree?
If you don't then you truly have no idea how much work is involved in any sort of business, and your ideas and accusations are even more discredited (if they can possibly have a shred of credibility)
Dutch had backers for the main event, most of the money went back to them. There would be no way that he walked away with even close to $50,000.
