Gearing up....

I think 2006 is going to be a good year. I made the decision to go for Player of the Year last month in Columbia. I had a good solid month of chill time back home in Missouri. Then it was time to get back to work.

For the last two weeks all I've been doing is playing poker. I took four hours off to go see Chronicles of Narnia with Bobby and my little sister. I also took a couple hours off to go christmas shopping. Other than that, the routine has been steady.

1. Get up.
2. Load up a site.
3. Put my name on a list.
4. Hungry? Order something that delivers.
5. Play until I can't keep my eyes open.
6. Go to bed.
7. Repeat.

I've put in just shy of 25,000 hands in the last two weeks. When I was propping the 20/40 game back at Garden City, it would have taken me three months to get that many hands in.

Next stop... going back to CoMo for christmas (and my birthday... I'm 25 tomorrow!). Might stay out there for New Years. Might not. But whatever... January 4th is tournament trail time. The plan is to play 300 Card Player rated tournaments this year. The plan is to rack up 4,000 POY points and take that spot. The plan is fool-proof.

Check it out... if I were a movie I'd be a cool one. What kind of movie would you be? If you don't know, you better take the test.
